Our House Construction Process in Chennai, Step by Step
A transparent process is the best protection for your budget and timeline. At Archit Homes every project moves through six clear stages, and you know what is happening on site at each one. It starts with a consultation to understand your goals, plot, budget and expected timeline. Our design team then prepares concept designs, 3D visualisations and layouts, finalises materials and produces a cost estimate. Once the scope is agreed we sign the contract and schedule, and support the approvals and permits needed to begin. On site we prepare the ground, execute the approved drawings and inspect the work continuously, with separate monitoring for quality and safety. The project closes with a final inspection, a walkthrough with you and a documented handover. A standard home typically takes 12 to 18 months from foundation to handover. Any change in plan is discussed with you first, because changes made after construction starts are not covered by the package price.
Consultation, soil testing and design
We study your requirements and your plot. The Premium package includes soil testing and structural design, so foundations suit the ground conditions of your location.
Agreement, approvals and onboarding
A written scope, contract and schedule before work starts, with support for the drawings and documents your building approval requires.
Execution and quality control
Site preparation, foundation, RCC frame, masonry, plastering and finishing, with ongoing inspections and safety compliance checks throughout construction.
Final inspection and handover
A final inspection and client walkthrough, followed by documentation and handover of your completed home, with post-construction support afterwards.
